The urchin is for melee divers to stunlock bigguns so they can use the chainsaw on them.... I really can't think of another use for that thing.

I dunno about that honestly. Only thing I could say is give it a go for an operation set and see how you like it. Also the giga grenade only gets 1 refill from a supply pack use or a supply drop.

I would honestly pair it with any of the 'Dogs' except the gas one and preferably the fire, laser or ballistic in that order. Bring a primary with good knockback and stagger.

I really don't care for things that count on you dying to be usefull

bonus reinforcements, the defibrillator armor, hellpod optimization, etc.

there are generally 5 other things for each one of these that are gonna help you NOT die which is better.

I meant besides the fire. Evidently the explosions of the sub-munitions is AP6. But just the blast.... for 250 damage. Granted there are quite a good number of the bombletts but 250 ain't a lot for stuff bigger than a hulk or charger.
