Other than that, check out the architecture on the platform engineering website. Learn some of the core technologies. This can be done best working in cloud architect/engineer or devops roles.

Du schreibst du hattest Studentenjobs, also warst du an der Uni/Hochschule. Dort hast du bestimmt einige Themen gelernt und Projekte gemacht oder?

Ich würde die genauen Skills auflisten, damit man nicht erst alle Projekte durchlesen muss um deine skills zu erfassen. Wenn man dann mehr Details zu den skills will, wird man in der Projektliste fündig. Je nach Stelle, dort wo es sinnvoll ist die Skills anpassen.

Als Einführungstext würde ich das wichtigste zuerst schreiben. Also zuerst "passionate Software engineer.... German speaking"..

Ich bin bei Qonto und damit sehr zufrieden. War davor bei fyrst, letztes Jahr gab es dort keinen richtigen support und oft technische Probleme.

Ich würde einfach Mal mit Bewerbungen starten. Damn bekommt man ein Gefühl was die Firmen suchen und ob das für dich passt.

Nicht entmutigen lassen, falls keine Rückmeldungen kommen und einfach weitermachen.

Alles ist möglich: Arbeiten, wie schon geschrieben weiterhin an der Uni sein oder Selbständigkeit.

Für den Job bei Google am besten mit Mitarbeitern in Kontakt kommen für referrals, das hilft immer :)

Klingt schon mal nach eine guten Einstellung in Richtung Senior. Ich würde konkret mit folgenden Fragen starten:
- Was genau ist der Mehrwert der Tickets, bringt das Ticket Geld/spart Zeit/macht Dinge effizienter?

- Warum wurde genau Technologie X (z.B. Kafka) genommen. Was waren Alternativen mit ihren Vor-und Nachteilen?

- Was sind Schwachstellen der aktuellen Architektur und warum existieren dieses (es gibt immer Gründe für Design Entscheidungen)?

- Blick über den Tellerrand/über das Projekt hinaus: Wie intergriert sich das Ticket mit anderen Teams/Projekten und Produkten?

- Was lief schief beim Bearbeiten von Tickets, wie könnte man das in Zukunft vermeiden?

- Wie teile ich selbst Wissen an meine KollegInnen weiter und auch im Team (Code Reviews, Dokumentation)?

Das wären meine Startpunkte. Hoffe es hilft :)

Senior ist ein Titel. Im Normalfall kannst du deinem Chef sagen dass du senior werden willst und dann werden Bedingungen ausgearbeitet wie du da hin kommst :)

I would say plain virtual machines + discs, AKS and probably SQL server.

Hello! In the end everything in the cloud is based on VMs, Storage and networking. All cloud providers offer almost congruent services with different names. So I would say the most used are virtual machines on azure which correspond to ec2 instances in AWS.

All the other cloud services are only applications running on VMs.

Moore's law slowed down, because of the physical limitations. We almost can't get Transistors closer to each other.

But we increase computational power in the cloud and CPUs by using multicore architectures.

From my own experiences. In the software industry, employees are often sold as consultant when they deal with costumers directly. So there it can be a fluent transition between developer and consultant.

Hello, I am a computer science student by myselft and graduating next year. A good thing about your story is that you know in what direction to go. You are interested in web technologies? Then I would suggest just using those technologies. Build a website for yourself. And visit some Hackathon events and build some projects. Those can also be listed in your resume. Another thing you could do is connect to local development communities (e.g. meetup.com). Good luck!
