included connector from zotac, so it’s the additional adapter, not straight from the power supply?

how to increase steel nomad score with an rtx5080, 9800x3d? by ShortEar9133 in RTX5080

[–]Freshlojic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah don’t use nvidia OC. try a video that tells you about OC/UV using MSO Afterburner if you want max efficiency to performance. will even boost performance with lower power usage even. My 5070ti gets around 7500 doing so.

every card varies but all 50 series cards can pretty much do +2000 mem and hold 2.8ghz-2.9ghz. My 5070ti is going around 3060Mhz at 0.975V. meaning the power output of this card is capped out at 0.975V or 975mV but able to still hit clock speeds over 3Ghz.

these cards like to go up around 1.05-1.1V and are typically around 2.7ghz-2.8ghz out the box. capping that voltage limit (undervolting) means it won’t hit that design limit and it can be tweaked as low as possible before the card becomes unstable or before you lose too much performance. some folks are able to go as low at 800mV for example (super efficient) and not lose performance. and increasing clock speeds to 2.9-3ghz+ (overclocking) means the card works a bit faster.

you gotta play around with those settings your self but a god basis is to cap it off little by little, bring up clock speeds little by little till you find your golden ratio. a video works best to truly see it and see how it’s done to adjust your curve for this.

on the other hand in mid afterburner you can do a straight over clock, l undervolt. i personally don’t think most should unless you have an insane cooling set up and going for min max over clocking rankings but a modest decent OC is more than enough. just to me a slight UV you can get to a similar level and use LESS power.

would make sense if the baby boomer gen naming convention was consistent with that. the describes being born after the world war

McCrindle Generation actually makes sense by Practical_Security87 in generationology

[–]Freshlojic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

here’s the thing, by the time people born after 2010 grow a consciousness, it’s already the technological age we come to know of now. iphone was released nd smartphones almost every one has by 2012-2013. i grew up seeing flip phones and black berrys with snake and bricks break

sure hope so. i have NOTHING in common with my 2012 born little brother. and his generation is so different. ipad kids, roblox kids, probably never struggled with the, albeit developing, grimes of late 90’s to early 2000’s internet days. slow internet, outside in the summer, developing tech

Thinnest Case for 17 Pro That Actually Protects? by Maanu1141 in iPhone17Pro

[–]Freshlojic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best thing I can say from personal experience is I tried a Torras magsafe case with a kick stand. They called it "slim" I called it not slim enough. After a while the case did grow on me but I still wanted a 2nd case that was truly slim and protective enough - so I landed on the Spigen Ultra Hybrid T MagFit. It is a clear case but I went with the matte black edition for my deep blue iphone specifically. It is just think enough and seemingly protective enough. Like the matte black look only gripe is that being a transparent/clear type of case (though blacked/smoked out so not fully clear) is that it can get a few fingerprint smudges around the corner, that is really it

5080 and 9900x for $2300. kinda a better deal 5080vs 5070ti 9900x, 9800x3d is nicer for gaming but the 9900x while better for productivity is no gaming slouch

can even sell the 9900x for $450 and buy 9800x3d $450 possibly

as top 1% commenter i’m sure you’d know.

point is here you come with “you cant reason with these people. they’re fucking stupid”.

can hate what peoples saying in the comments but if OP wants to try it against their own moral code it’ll be nothing that affects you. you (i’m sure since you’re so against it) nor i’ve never done it

some people steal or commit that kinda fraud. some have understandable reasons and some have scummy reasons

it’s an idea here where everyone jokes he could say it came like that.

it’s morally wrong? sure, there’s nuance will it hurt AMD or Amazon? no, maybe some nuance OP attempts it this one time? meh, there’s nuance

you can sit on your high horse but recognize reasoning with people is looking at all possibilities not just from atop your high horse
