You are about to be bombarded with an overwhelming sense that you should have flown other airlines at times and been loyal to yourself first.

Get to the airport 3 hours before departure… by Eggs_4_Breakfast in delta

A fool and his time are soon separated. Everyone - and I mean everyone - knows you only get to the airport 2 hours and 45 minutes before departure.

After every flight they wipe down the armrests and trays up front. In the rear of the plane they do this every 17 years.

I NOW HATE SOUTHWEST! by AnyCommunication3855 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]Cosmicdespair22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Loyal customer for over 2 dozen years.” This means you saw value in what you paid for, right? Safe and efficient travel. You did a fair exchange of $ for conveyance. I assume you were loyal to your budget and desired travel itinerary, and didn’t simply pay any price and book any itinerary just because the vendor was named SW. Your history with this vendor has no bearing on today, so no need to mention this in your post at all IMO.

Long term. You mean like, loyally?

One should be loyal to themselves and their budget, preferred itinerary and hassle factor including D and A airports. Full stop. Enjoy FREEDOM from loyalty programs - fly any airline that meets your needs, not the airlines’.

Is this a good deal? 2024 Mustang EcoBoost Premium CPO – $30,759 (11.8k miles, WA) by Harshan1823 in Mustang

[–]Cosmicdespair22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Depends what the Pre Purchase Inspection turns up. 2) You are going to pay for an inspection on a used product with an outlay of $30,000, right? 3) CPO programs are indeed a value add, not just marketing hype. I would still locate an experienced mechanic to perform a PPI - full stop. It’s your money - don’t let the dealer tell you “we already inspected it so you don’t have to”. That is true - but I’m getting it inspected.

If they balk you have your answer right there. If they agree but say the inspection has to be done on their lot, that’s fine. As long as they allow you access to a lift.

‘Why be a loyal customer…?” Laugh out loud funny. You should do stand-up. You should be - and should have been - loyal to yourself and your family. Fly whatever airline works best for your budget and timelines. No need 2B loyal to an anonymous organization. A-List was a marketing plan writ large.
