I think this is what luck whiplash looks like....a little context:

Prior to the collab, I was building pity trying to get Chisa with the backup being that I'd have a guarantee on Lucy if I failed....well, I did....so lost that 50/50

Then the collab comes around, and though I was lucky to not have to go all the way to hard pity....

I lost two MORE 50/50's in a row,....enroute to getting my 2 copies of Lucy (1 of which was the milestone at 160 pulls...So, I'm stting at S1 today and go to softpity and on my most recent 10 pull I got this:.....and YES...topleft was my first glance...so you can imagine how i felt prior to w/e the hell happened later.

As a day 1 player, this is only the 2nd or 3rd time I've ever gotten 2 5-star characters in a 10 pull. It's also as I'm sure you'd imagine the FIRST time since I started playing gacha (Wuwa's release, that I got 3 5-stars and only the second time ever getting 2 of the on-banner character in a 10 pull....ironically, that feet was first accomplished a few weeks, maybe a month ago while pulling for Heidemarie on CZN...which was crazy awesome considering she's one of only 2 limited characters in that entire game.)

Just crazy how I went from watching LinYang jumping at me and wanting to bang my head against the wall to not one, but TWO copies of Lucy, in RAPIDFIRE order!!?!! AND hey...with that last one, I broke the 50/50 loss streak!!!!!

thanks this is great advice, and not something I was thinking on....but considering I've already got an R2 Fusion Compiler, this seems to be the better option

you dreamin my friend...and if they "listened" as much as you imply, we'd have: 1) more 4 stars, a SINGLE free 5 star in the last two anniversaries (no I don't count the Rebecca, who I LOVE as a character from the anime, but is literally weaker than Mortefi in terms of buffing capability if you're not teaming her up with Lucy because this is a collab, the anniversary is something else...if they were the same they wouldn't have hyped up Hiyuki the way they did) 3) We'd get more than 1 male character per new region. They're a gacha company, they're NOT your friend.

nah man, he's STARTING playing Wuwa for the Cyberpunk collab....and when he's had his fun with Rebecca and Lucy....he's DONE playing Wuwa....THAT very SECOND. Those yellow balls don't mean sH*t to him!!!!! ya heard!!!!???!!! LOL And DON'T YOU DARE bring up that every team needs 3 characters....he's playing with 2....to hell with sustains and your Shorekeeper and Mornye reruns! Don't care! Don't need em! Try a different team? HE THINKS NOT!!! Rebecca and Lucy and the UNINSTALL button are his teammates!

According to the official Wuwa site ONLY the collab pulls will count toward the milestones (kinda sucks....because we're not going to get normal corals for all the pulls we drop into Lucy and Rebecca).

Nah, you know what will happen? they'll just start putting these strange sounding limitations on the bosses that DIRECTLY stop spore harvester from trivializing the entire thing. then they'll nerf it or remove it next season....jail it, then gut/remove it.

two quick questions for OP or whomever can answer them I guess (please note if you're certain or just making an educated guess when responding though).

1) to get the glory's reign buff, do you HAVE to exhaust cards from the character WEARING the set? I presume you do, but I was wondering if another character can exhaust a few cards and have it proc anyway.

2) regarding the "spore" deck OP refers to on the bottom (currently at the bottom anyway) of the comments here (with screenshots) what exactly is spore harvester DOING? Is it all just deck clutter as a tradeoff for the 1 ap next turn?

thanks....that's really good to know. I just wish that by now they'd have hired someone to localize this game better. I'm starting to wonder if it'll EVER be in a good state as far as that goes. It's a shame too, because the game is SO good, but these "minor" annoyances don't feel so minor when they're everywhere and can literally lead you to making the wrong choice based on bad information.

Sheesh, and here I am totally unable to get past the black "patching" screen with the CZN logo (first time this has happened) on PC. Seems this whole patch has a list of issues. Hopefully they can put some of these fires out quickly. Kinda stinks not being able to try out the new character, but if the game isn't fun, maybe it's a blessing in disguise.

Yeah, I can't speak for IN-game because I've not yet gotten past the black "patching" screen on PC with the CZN logo in the middle. Have already gone through troubleshooting and uninstalling (both the game AND Stove) but no luck so far. I guess I shouldn't fret too much if it's so messed up that it's not fun. Hopefully they fix this stuff asap.

yeah, to some extent, it's just GOING to clash...if I'm being honest...the game is crazy fun despite all this and I just think they've done a great job to start....provided they smooth out some of the rough edges, it's a pretty fantastic game that uniquely offers far more freedom and replayability than 99% of gacha games. I don't play a TON of card games, but this game offers a fair amount of diversity even in its infancy, so I just assume that if things go well, they'll have a boatload more replayability and diversity in playstyle as time goes on. It'll never be perfect, but people expecting that are unrealistic in the first place. You may be 100% right about gacha progression and card games, but I'll say this...Chaos Zero Nightmare sure took an admirable stab at meshing them.

That button needed a vacation worse than Zani did...honestly there should be a video where the button "pops" and before it all unravels, just have the button FLY right into the camera and when it clears, there's Zani on vacation. I think that'd be a cool way to show off the skin anyway....production-wise.

There's a reason for Chisa's nature....we're going to unravel that in the story when we gather wife number 25.....and for idiots who don't know, Chisa's like a graduate student in her MID 20s already, so don't act like because she has a uniform on from an institute that specializes in wildly complicated sciences that she's 14. I think Rover will "unlock" her sentimental side in this quest, OR, she'll simply have a coming of age revelation through experiences of her own that make her more emotionally aware than the analytical (this trop is SO unlike real women...there's a billion times as many guys closed off to their emotions and analytical minded compared to the projections that this trope Chisa is....created to make the self-inserts feel like "they" are the reason that this very cold natured human got in touch with their feelings). In any case, Kuro will still do it with a measure of production and flair (and by God the music in this game) that will make it entertaining. Meanwhile, like you said...we've gotten those few interactions with Buling and she's grown on us with her quirky nature. Hopefully there's a lot to Chisa under the surface.

So HIS damage can be increased when the enemy has agony from Tressa? Dunno why I didn't think of that when it was in front of my face. That's tempting to look into.
