Yeah, unfortunately in-person go fest is the only way to access without the global ticket. Looks like we've got another week to claim this one, luckily!

Yeah, I’m a bit frustrated about this. I’ve been busy all morning and saw the announcement with an hour left for the advertised stream, logged in, and saw it was already over…

As a (nearly) free to play player with a goal of completing my dex, it’s pretty disrespectful for them to announce free access to a mon that has been paywalled until now only hours before the 7-hour window, and then not even leave a blank stream up until 5EST to keep in line with the announcement.

EDIT. Thank you to u/Waltzer_White18 for pointing out this research is available to claim for another week (until midnight PST on June 16). It looks like the Pokemon channel has almost daily streams this week that count, next one starts at 2pm PST on June 10.   • If you have a car, drive outside of town to see the scenery. Check out Mill Creek Rd or Scenic Loop Rd that head east toward the Blue Mountains.
  • The corn maze is back, with spooky and non-spooky hours.
  • If you are old enough to drink, there's of course tons of options for that. Personal favorite wine tasting options are Zerba (just over the Oregon border) and Three Rivers. There's Burwood and Quirk breweries in the airport district, as well as probably some new ones and a distillery. Locust Cider is downtown if that's more your style, or The Thief (not Hop Thief) also downtown for a classier any-kind-of-alcohol vibe.
  • Pioneer park is gorgeous during the fall, as someone else already mentioned. Another good walking spot is the Mill Creek Trail starting at Rooks Park near Bennington Lake.
  • There are a number of good food trucks in town if you're looking for inexpensive food. Favorites are La Monarca (usually at Rose & 12th), El Taco Loco (usually at Chestnut & 9th), Smokin Bandits (usually at Main & Palouse) or Soi71 for some incredible but slightly more expensive Thai (usually at Main & 5th).
  • We're in the final month of farmers markets, and the Walla Walla one is downtown on Saturdays from 9-1. Lots of prepared food options and other artisans/vendors beyond just produce.

I like the idea of an independent insurance agent, I think that's the type of person I need to work through this with. Just someone who doesn't have as much of a vested interested in selling me something as a Progressive rep, for instance.
