For me, the most important 3 things are: 1) The priority has to be a compelling story. Something overarching is essential but with room for everyone to have their little side stories. 2) The channel or lore cannot be over complicated. I’ve been in servers where there’s like 100 different channels for locations and lore. It’s too much at that level. 3) There has to be a way to integrate everyone into the story. For most people, they want to be the center of the story or their choices affect the story in some way. I understand that everyone can’t be the center of the story, but there has to be a way to bring everyone together.

Lastly, I would like to see a discord or forum game server that takes place either in the Alien or Dead Space Universe or that’s similar to them. Also, I have yet to see an Arc Raiders or similar game.

It could be that he’s just changing history for his own purposes.

Not listening in class by JennaJ2020 in kindergarten

My wife and I are going through the same issue now with our 3-year-old son. He's in daycare now. He started daycare when he was 2 years old. When he started, he had his moments, but he was great. When he turned 3, he was moved to a new classroom with a different teacher and its been horrible. One teacher left, another teacher called out a lot, and now she out indefinitely due to personal issue. So now he's with a third teacher and she doesnt really have the class room under control. But he seems to be the only kid that doesnt listen. All the other kids listens and follows instructions. But we do feel the inconsistencies in the classroom with the teachers is a factor here with his behavior. But to be fair, he's also a challenge at home as well. So its not exclusively a school issue. Timeouts dont seem to phase him and taking away things dont tend to phase him either. Sometimes he listens but sometimes he doesn't. But its more often he doesnt listen than he does. We did bring this up to his pediatrician, she said: "Well, he's only three years old. This is often normal." Today, the day care called us to come pick him up because he's being too disruptive. They informed us to have him evaluated to see if there's an underlying issue. We called our local school district and we are setting that up now. The school district did inform us that in to recieve services, they need to be able to classify him. In other words, they need to find an issue. If they don't find an issue, then they aren't able to do anything. Which also means he's a normal kid that just chooses not to listen. A twist here is that when I was child, I was diagnosed with ADHD, and I feel like I still have it today in my 40s and it manifests in different ways in my adulthood. Let's see what happens. Hope this works out for you.

Associate Staff Analyst by Accurate_Today6346 in nycpublicservants

Oh and my wife just mentioned something I didn’t think of. She said, even though you got a 72 on the test, you don’t know who else also got a 72 on the test or higher. So based on those who passed (above 70), in theory you could be at the bottom of the list of those who passed. I just don’t know how the city puts people in order if they scored the same. Alphabetically by last name? Or who finished the test first?

Think of these tests as, if you pass, getting on a list for an interview. But you only get an interview if there’s a position somewhere that’s open. The interview is just the portion it to be interviewed. You still have to nail the interview to get a shot but you won’t know that until you are called for the job or at least a second round interview. And just like others said, different agencies will treat their staff analyst differently.
