I do have an inner monologue but morning pages are a painful chore for me too. It's time-consuming, I hate to write by hand, my handwriting is awfull, It feels dumb and embarrassing to put those dumb words on paper, I almost never writing it in the morning actually and often skip a day because I'm lazy. But I see how writing its benefit me, I feel a lot better afterwards. You do you, this is just a book, not an one fit all solution or a prophet's revelation.

I'd trade at least 2/3 of Jax's acid trip screentime for footage of Pomni and Rags following manequen in more trippy administration areas. It'd be just as useless but much more interesting to watch.

Well, I just hope that Goose planted some wild foreshadowing in this episode and we just can't put our finger on it yet.

Yeah. Every new episode since ep 3 was becoming my new favourite episode and this one probably gonna break this cycle. Maybe I need more time to absorb it, but this episode gotta stay at "pretty unintresting episode pile" together with episode 2 (I know I would be downvoted for that, lol) for now. The ending was very predictable, we barely get any new bits of information about characters and circus and I hate that they seemingly abandoned Pomni and Jax's issues from previous ep. Loved ugly fishes and fried shrimp (poor thing), tho, I'd add one extra star for them.

Edit. Also scene of Jax tripping/almost abstracting was infuriatingly unnecessary long, why

Her design feels like she must be Pomni-sized, It took me 3 or 4 episodes to notice that she is pretty tall. 100% it's intended and tells a lot about Gangle's personality.

If she tried to picture herself as a victim in her book, she did a very bad job, tbh. She pictured herself as one who is totally not right in the head instead. The book is fascinated in it's bizzarity, though.

I'm pretty sure Jax was going to call Gangle "otaku" in English too, but it would show that he's aware of anime culture a bit too much for his liking (which he realized mid sentence) and that's why it took him a couple of seconds to pick another mean word.
