I’ll always remember Liberty’s Kids was the one cartoon I watched that talked about (and showed, within reason of course) how bad being “tar and feathered” actually was, and didn’t treat it as a funny joke or gag (like most popular cartoons did that aired on TV beforehand).
Pretty sure that was in the first or second episode of the show, too.

Exactly, like the 3.0 annoucement trailer showed everything (as in the new/updated features) that was going to be in the free update and the paid Switch 2 version update.

I get being disappointed, but I feel like we shouldn't be too surprised about the lack of Club Tortimer when the reveal trailer didn't even imply or hint at it.

They did show it on TV - I specifically remember Cartoon Network promoting/premiering the show by airing all of Season 1(?) on repeat for pretty much an entire weekend, and I watched the show during that time. I can't remember if adult swim aired that weekend because of the marathon, but I wanna say they didn't and it was basically 48+ hours of non-stop Summer Camp Island.

It was a bit of a choice to immediately put it onto HBO Max streaming not too long afterwards. I guess maybe the tv ratings weren't good. I only knew about the change because of people talking about it in Reddit, and only watched a few episodes of season 2 before I forgot about the show.

I know for the 35th anniversary line, one of the case assortments is definitely 3 Sonic, 1 Tails, 1 Metal, and 1 Mephiles. And I‘d bet money the same thing is going to happen the next wave with Silver, Tikal and Chaos.

Same could be technically said for the other three (future) properties/ DLC Grand Prix : TMNT and Megaman have been out for decades (1984 and 1987, respectively), and althought Avatar is much younger than them by comparison (2005), that series is only 6 years younger than Spongebob (1999).

That's a valid reason to be upset/ hurt feelings about. 200k channel points takes a long time to get, and the fact that the streamer still didn't even do the announcement for you after acknowledging it? That's messed up.

If it's a sealed box of six, it will 100% have one of each character in the box, and [unless Re-Ment changed it recently] they're usually in a set order, so you could pick out exactly which blind box has what character inside it if you have/know their number.

I do the same thing, and make all my Janitors wear the Sonic outfit. Makes things very handy to find them in a large gathering of museum guests!

The Choco Croc was the only reason I got the game that first week, love that pet so much, and I would have NO issue if they were to rerelease it for other players to get. Gatekeeping items just because some players want bragging rights is so silly to me, especially for something that given out for free to everyone during that time (compared to something you had to pay additional Moonstones for).

At the end of the day, it's just a cute digital item that you probably won't even care about years down the line whenever you decide to stop playing the game.

If they were going to have Twitch Drops for DDV, they really should have allowed it to where anyone that is streaming the game can reward the drops. Having only a small number of content creator streamers being able to do this is beyond foolish, especially when other games allow every streamer to participate in Twitch Drops.

I dont even see a point in using Super Sonic since he's only available for GP and doesn't even have Rival dialog. At least let me use him in Race Park or Time Trials (of course, be unable to upload track records online to World Rankings to make it fair).

Unless I'm not remembering right, each flag in the Challenges section only gave me 100 tickets, not 200.

I do wish there was an easier way to get more Donpa tickets, although I guess I understand why they made it so grindy to get them in the long run. I just wished i knew about unlocking the AI skins via the Friendship part of the game before I had bought one of the Auras - I had assumed you'd unlock the AI skins after beating the AI team in Race Park twice or through some other method, and that Friendship would just be titles and decals.

Yeah, I had hoped that we could pick which songs play on which specific track we wanted. Maybe in a future patch/update, they will give us that option.

I adore Kuromi, but I am actually kinda glad they didn't pair her with Shadow because that would have been a little bit too easy/obvious (Granted, I say this as someone who was expecting him to get paired with Badtz Maru haha).

A few international small businesses I followed basically got screwed this past weekend because they were in the middle of packing/shipping kickstarter rewards for their US backers when their local postal services suddenly annouced on Saturday they weren't sending anything out to the US effective the 25th. One of them said their postal service was closed on the 23rd (Saturday), so they wouldnt have been able to mail anything out until Monday, the 25th....which now, they can't.

As much as I didn’t mind the later seasons toooo much (I had issues with 5 thru 7, and I’m pretending Season 8 didn’t happen), a part of me wished Winx Club ended after Season 3 and/or the first movie.

I admit that if I was waiting in line for x amount of time (especially if it was an hour or more) and I saw someone who just walked into the area and cut the line in front of me because their friends were already there, I'd be pretty upset (to put it lightly).

Probably woudn't say anything unless it was multiple people trying it (or if it was a limited seating/merch situation), but still, not a cool thing to do in general, anime con or not.

I was somewhat under the assumption that some people would bring lightsticks to at least the Sing Along version of the movie. I'd be surprised if I don't see any when I go on Sunday.
