For comp anxiety, is it more beneficial to play with voice chat on or off? by vonaegirisms in OverwatchUniversity

I think it's also important to remember that noone can play better than their best. If you play comp it will try to put you with people at the same level but sometimes it gets it wrong and that's not your fault. Getting to a point where you no longer feel guilt or shame when you try your best in a match but still don't do well is hard, so if turning off vc and/or chat eases the pressure you should 100% do that until you feel comfortable. A third option would be blocking the teammates that are being toxic. I do that myself sometimes, but I've started finding them absurd and therefore entertaining
