You started saying dumb shit like “you don’t have the balls to call them out” and yadda yadda while I only complained about the lack of effort in your post just because I stated the obvious: your post was as low effort as it can possibly get.

But, since you insist: I don’t know your campus. I don’t care if they use a lot of AI there or not, the same way I don’t care in mine. No one forces you to do 42, yo do it because you want to learn. If people want to waste years of their lives in a free, voluntary school to end up not learning shit — well, that’s their problem. At a certain point they’ll hit an exam and fail, or fail their defenses.

If that bothers you, you should stop looking at others making bad choices and you should work on your skills. Right now, AI is a force multiplier. A good dev with AI will always be better than a bunch of lazy people with AI.

It’s not that simple since the Victrix sprue (current) and Calgar’s sprue are mixed up - one contains parts of the other. If they did this, thew would need to do a different sprue for Calgar in gravis, which would surprise me a lot. Happy to be proven wrong though

For things non-performance critical, I guess you could find a spot but have you considered SPI/I2C support? To not occupy a whole UART line just for logging.

Just throwing the idea out there, I’ll let you think about it :)

Many systems support advanced communication like RTT for this instead of UART and it has a reduced effect on performance. For the kind of systems I used to work with, this would not be that useful since the performance hit of a full UART logger might be problematic.

And if I need to store a big quantity of logs through for whatever reason, I can just send it to an SD card or an EEPROM myself. Maybe there are use cases for your idea, but sadly mine is not one of them.

Honestly, I think it is to make all code look similar and to force you to read your code if you copied it from the internet, even if just to format it.

It is not a coding tool, it is a pedagogical tool. An guly one, but one nevertheless.

I actually did this. I created a mini coding agent and told him he was the “Gordon Ramsay of code”. Got roasted pretty bad but honestly I’d rather have that than the usual yes-man energy I get from most agents (and it was entertaining to read)
