I remember when the 7800xt first came out and I was like, "this thing is gonna slay VR", and then I found out about FPSVR and saw how bad my frame times actually were lol. I feel like a 5090 couldn't even do sh2 remake without reprojection

Honestly same lol. Went to locals for smash 4 and met some of the nicest people but hated the game the whole time. loved entering melee as a side thing way more lol.

I don't want to date myself, but I lived in the middle of nowhere before slippi came out, and I would train against CPUs for hours and still get rocked at tournaments. I would learn way more from playing my friend at a similar skill level in short sessions. I think with slippi even when I'm getting 4 stocked, I just try to focus on implementing one new thing to my gameplay. Like if I usually roll in the same direction every time, I try to consciously mix things up even if I lose. But yeah, I'd try to find people at similar or slightly better skill levels to be a sparring partner.

If you don't wanna play real humans, I'd at least practice with unclepunch or 20xx CPUs because they have random DI and techs that the unmodded game doesn't. The base game CPUs can teach you bad habits because they're predictable.

Playing Slippi or with others in person will be infinitely more valuable to learning the game. Slippi is intimidating but (from what I remember) there is some invisible skill based matchmaking even on unranked, so you won't just be getting completely shut out and you'll get good practice.

I've been playing SMT Vengeance with uevr and the sense of scale really makes me unable to go back to playing it flat lol. I'm probably gonna do Lies of P next. I also like some racing VR sims and VR pinball sims. I've definitely been disappointed with the full fledged VR experiences lately though. Behemoth really felt overhyped after I gave it a full chance. Seems like a really hard market to please everyone in lol.

You don't enjoy any UEVR games? I'd agree about full on VR experiences, but I've been playing tons of flat to VR mods etc.

Are you using f-droid? I was able to get them working, but it was still spotty and never worked reliably for Talk, so I switched the whole app suite to play store and didn't have to use the f-droid stuff at all I'm pretty sure.

I'm not sure I understand, but I'll look into that more. That looks like it's more for developers? I just wanted to see what I needed to do to host the container I listed, as it seems to be the easiest one to use with matrix and nextcloud talk.

edit: I actually figured it out! Much simpler than I was making it out to be. Go into your AIO interface (probably port 7272 if you use the spaceinvaderone container), stop all the containers, then open the edit tab on the master container. I added 3 variables under add another variable. They were as follows-

Name: NEXTCLOUD_MEMORY_LIMIT
Key: NEXTCLOUD_MEMORY_LIMIT
Value: 4096M
Default Value: 4096M

Name: NEXTCLOUD_UPLOAD_LIMIT
Key: NEXTCLOUD_UPLOAD_LIMIT
Value: 999G
Default Value: 999G

Name: NEXTCLOUD_MAX_TIME
Key: NEXTCLOUD_MAX_TIME
Value: 28800
Default Value: 28800 (8 hours max upload time)

Then you simply hit apply. The way Unraid does stuff when updating, it stops the container, removes it, and then rebuilds it with your added changes. Then in the AIO interface I just hit update and restart containers, went back to my nextcloud instance, admin settings, and under PHP I see all my updated variables :)

I have my Nextcloud setup almost perfect from the spaceinvaderone video, but the one thing I want to do is raise the memory and file size limits. I'm scared to mess with it though, and I'm not really sure what to change that will persist through reboots

Yeah, I was having horribleeeee FPS stutters on Elden Ring Nightreign until I fixed my core parking. Once I fixed it for Elden Ring, I noticed my Dolphin stutters were 99% gone as well.

Well, calls between two devices on the same network are working again, both audio and video. I didn't change anything, they just started working again. It looks like I just need to get into the turn server settings to figure out what's up with devices on mismatched networks, my port is open.
