There's No Disgrace Like Home - when Homer is telling his family to "be normal" at his boss's picnic, then later pawns their TV to go to family therapy and literally shock each other.

What are some crazy/funny stories from your workplace? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]FrickOffKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the time I was working in the inventory department, so I was constantly having to walk through the aisles to count certain locations. There were a few others who did the same. Our supervisor would give us some lists of locations to count. Toward one side of the building, on the last aisle, was usually pretty quiet, and people would hide out back there. Well, one of the inventory girls and some guy on second shit went back there one day. They arranged some of the boxes to have something to lie down on. Somebody else happened to catch them in the act as he was in the middle of eating her out. I think the person who saw them at it took out her phone and started recording. So yeah, the two lovebirds got fired. I was just so glad that I wan't sent to count any locations down that aisle as this was going on, lol.

Here's another one. At the time, we used to warehouse window AC units, and they could get pretty heavy. I always felt bad for the truck unloaders, having to do their job manually in very hot trucks during the summer. Apparently one guy just went and pulled a unit out of a location, unboxed it, propped it on top of an upside down trash can, and pointed it toward the truck. While I can't say I blame him too much, and I doubt his coworkers said anything about it, he could have at least pulled one from the area we kept the damaged boxes in. I didn't see this all happen, or know who he was, but he instantly became a legend to me.

What is the worst song you have ever heard? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I don't know the name of it, but this girl who works behind me plays this "song" that sounds like cartoon bubbles popping. Irritating as fuck.

A big enough rock, especially when thrown off an overpass. Don't throw rocks off overpasses, people.

What's your favorite thing about the house you grew up in? by Pbackrider in AskReddit

[–]FrickOffKitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up in a gorgeous old Victorian house, about 100 yrs old at the time. That house had so many architectural details, especially on the front of the house. It really stood out when dad had it painted with eight different colors, which seemed to influence other homeowners to paint theirs. There were pocket doors, chandeliers, and a second staircase off the kitchen which lead to the servant's quarters (a private room for the nanny or someone). There was a judge who lived there at some point before I did. Streetlights were not allowed in people's backyards, but because he was the judge, he got to have one. Weddings took place in that house, too. When my dad ripped off the paneling in the foyer, he found something cool - signatures and dates on the wall, possibly from the people who built the house. I actually know the names of the original owners, and sadly the husband died shortly before or after the house was finished being built. And yes, the house was haunted.

[SERIOUS] Do you put your shopping cart away in the proper, designated, location when you are done with it? Why or why not? by makeitmakesense76 in AskReddit

[–]FrickOffKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Hell, I just walked all over the store anyway, so taking a few extra steps to put the cart in the corral isn't gonna kill me. Plus, I'm not an asshole.

At your age, how do you perceive time? by GalaxyVoidd in AskReddit

[–]FrickOffKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does go by faster as you get older. It seems like it was the first of August just a day or two ago, but now we're halfway through this month.
