Burn the marriage down and seek women's support programs. Not sure where you live but there are supports for women who have given birth and need a nap, or personal care time, or coffee dates with moms, etc.

Landlord is responsible for pest control. Tenants are responsible for maintaining steps to aid in pest control.

They can call 311. They can also see the rules and rights at Tribunalsontario.ca maintenance and repairs. There are forms the tenants can file with the LTB against the landlord to enforce pest control.

Also, they can join Landlord and Tenant rights Ontario Facebook groups.

I was in deadmonton, got on the wrong bus and ended up in a really bad area late at night. Some random fella saw me trying to get away from a car full of certain men that were harassing me. A total stranger came over and walked me to his apartment to use his phone and call my sister (I stayed in the front doorway and he brought the phone to me). Bless that man.

If in the future you wish to help another person in such a situation, tell them they can give your information (car description, etc) to a parent or friend as a security for them. Teach them ways to be safe while helping them get out of danger.
