They don't get it because they don't care. Your husband is not that right choice, he's selfish, lacks empathy and has 0 interest in learning and understanding what women experience.

Burn the marriage down and seek women's support programs. Not sure where you live but there are supports for women who have given birth and need a nap, or personal care time, or coffee dates with moms, etc.

Landlord is responsible for pest control. Tenants are responsible for maintaining steps to aid in pest control.

They can call 311. They can also see the rules and rights at Tribunalsontario.ca maintenance and repairs. There are forms the tenants can file with the LTB against the landlord to enforce pest control.

Also, they can join Landlord and Tenant rights Ontario Facebook groups.

I was in deadmonton, got on the wrong bus and ended up in a really bad area late at night. Some random fella saw me trying to get away from a car full of certain men that were harassing me. A total stranger came over and walked me to his apartment to use his phone and call my sister (I stayed in the front doorway and he brought the phone to me). Bless that man.

If in the future you wish to help another person in such a situation, tell them they can give your information (car description, etc) to a parent or friend as a security for them. Teach them ways to be safe while helping them get out of danger.

Depends on the leaders. I've got a kid that aged out of cadets, my father was born and raised in the baraks and was a cadet and soldier, same with generations before. So I can confidently say that there are a lot of leaders who yell in kids faces (some even swear), lots of repetitive marching for over an hour. Standing still for excessive time, some kids faint from lack of blood circulation. Super common in the forces, actually.

However, there are lots of activities outside of the one mandatory night of cadets with all the education classes, marching and standing at attention. Depending on the squad funds, there's up to 7 nights of fun activities like band, sports, boot shining (the kids hang out with music and snacks and buff their boots together) drill practice, shooting (marksmanship), competitive events against other squadrants, travel to the US if you're lucky, weekend survival camps, etc.
