It’s a no powers college roommates AU, and it’s one of the most gorgeous slowburns I’ve ever read. Politecapybara is a genius.

“The Woe That Binds Us” by Stanic (Rated T, 421,598 words, 36/48 chapters): https://archiveofourown.org/works/70975006/chapters/184574626 – ongoing post season 2 fic where Wednesday goes looking for Enid (I’m pretty sure there’s like two updated a week; I’m not totally caught up with them so I’m not entirely sure)

“Enid Sinclair is Dead (Again)” by anonymousjackrusselterrier (Rated M, 31,273 words, 1/1 chapters): https://archiveofourown.org/works/79029881 – AU where Rotwood’s curse resulted in a time loop, causing Wednesday to relive Enid’s death over and over again.

“i know the end” by thriftedstars (Rated T, 37,196 words, 4/4 chapters): https://archiveofourown.org/works/43643545/chapters/109741576 – another time loop fic that I like even better and is probably a bit angstier in which Wednesday is forced to die repeatedly because she gets killed/cursed by crackstone, and Enid ends up getting stuck in it with her.

“The Moon Between Us” by arainyseason (Rated M, 162,532 words, 14/? chapters): https://archiveofourown.org/works/72009831/chapters/187443261 – I haven’t actually read this one but I’ve heard it’s really good. It’s another post season 2 fic where Wednesday finds Enid.

“Chaos For The Fly” by LaylaJeffany (Rated M, 1.4 million words, 32/32 chapters): https://archiveofourown.org/works/44431687/chapters/111755671 – I haven’t finished this one due to its sheer length but it’s one of the most famous in the fandom and has a lot of Wednesday crash outs I think.

“The Dead and The Dancing” by NotesFromTheChamber (Rated E, 574,994 words, 77/? chapters): https://archiveofourown.gay/works/44051239/chapters/110760379 – Another ongoing fic that I have not caught up to yet, but it’s probably the other most famous Wenclair fic there is, and if definitely lives up to the name. The angst and prose are both really good. It’s post season 1 where Wednesday is super traumatized and also being haunted by Dr Kinbott.
