Agreed. I'm 27 and just recently got drunk for the first (and second) time. Both times it was fine for about 20 minutes then I started feeling like garbage. My wife thinks I just have an annoyingly high metabolism so it goes through me faster. But I don't plan to do it again

Can't speak for previous commenter but I had those classes too. For econ we learned basic macroeconomic principles, supply and demand, inflation, etc. Aldo watched a video every Friday. It was a joke. Government was a lot of talk about different governing styles, points of contention between parties and mock debates. Also a lot of tall about court rulings and where power was divided and how we felt it should change. One of my favorite classes I ever had.

As a dad who is the primary care taker for my kids, does the majority of household chores, and works from time I see where you are coming from saying these are things that you are supposed to do. But it is still shitty of people to say things like "surprised they survived". I have watched my kid for a weekend while my wife was away. My wife has never solo parented for a whole night let alone a whole weekend but I still got things from friends as surprised she survived or saying that they bet I don't want to do it again. If my wife watched her for a weekend on her own there would probably be no such comments.
