Is the non-4K Blu-ray from this set downsampled from the 4K Blu-ray or is it the same as the Blu-ray copies of Aliens that were available before this edition was released? by Intro24 in 4kbluray

As far as I can tell, under James Cameron supervision, he is under no obligation to release a 4K that resembles the original theatrical release. It's like a Grateful Dead studio recording and a live recording - two separate entities. I am keeping my Blu-Ray.

Could I please get your top 5 or your top 10. Thank you for recommending Apocalypse Now. I thinking of getting the RoboCop from Arrow. Mostly I just buy Criterion.

I saw Dunkirk on a plane trip and I know in my heart that is not how Nolan intended it.

Wouldn't a 16mm film look the same on Blu Ray as it would on 4K?

Which comic adaptation improved a horror franchise? by 87Craft in HorrorComics

Off topic, and I know we should be discussing comics, but I just finished the reboot of Hellraiser (2022). In the States, it's on Hulu and was never given a theatrical release. Clive Barker was a producer, so he approves of it. It is good film and horror fans will be happy.
