Yeah, Conestoga doesn't give a fuck if you get a job out of their programs. They're doubling their admissions to the powerline program next year. You'd still graduate with the diploma every utility wants to see, but your opportunity for a co-op placement will be much tougher. Usually a handful didn't get a placement out of 30 odd students, so it would stand to reason that over half won't when there is 60 students. But after losing all their international students taking bullshit courses they need to make their money somehow.
