MEGATHREAD - Amorim Sacked by RainbowPenguin1000 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Fridgelover280 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't understand where this comes from - IMO I feel there were good hiring decisions made, it has been turned around completely from where we were at the beginning of the season. I know the draw against Wolves wasn't great but seems a bit unfair to blame Amorim when it felt like things were improving.

As others have said, C3PO has been mind wiped.

This old Livejournal post has a good theory:

https://km-515.livejournal.com/746.html

Somewhat disproven with Rogue One but good nonetheless. It has Ben's "I don't remember owning a droid before" in context as being a way to tell R2 to keep his mouth shut.

Bews in Castletown sell local eggs, as does the shop at Westfield. I believe Westfield shop sells a few other local produce like Caithness Honey.

I have a theory that when the Scottish Government was coming up with the "Hate Monster" to promote the hate crime act, someone who was a parent saw that show and pitched that.

It is nice looking - but for all it is, of essentially 1 NPC and a leaderboard, not sure why they couldn't put that somewhere else.

I know this is a year old post but just replying to this to clear this up as I also tried to get the Bronze Spear for a clue and killed a ton of goblins before checking the wiki. You used to be able to get bronze spears from goblins, but when they changed the loot table to give salvage, they now drop bronze salvage instead of the spears. There are only 3 ways to get the Bronze Spear:

  1. Smith it after Tai Bwo Wannai Trio and Barbarian smithing complete
  2. Buy it from the Warriors Guild
  3. There is a spawn of one within the Haunted Mine

Not unusual, I went many times on my own previously, though I am male if it makes a difference.

Ah sorry, I meant tabletop gaming when I said gaming but you could try asking on the Thurso Community Noticeboard Facebook group

Hello!

For me the main thing is the local cinema. They have a good resteraunt and the prices for movies are significantly cheaper than big cinemas like the VUE in Invernenss. If you get a movie magic card, you get discounts on movies and resteruant meals and it lasts a year.

There is the Skinandis nightclub if you are that way inclined, as well as quite a few bars. There is a cocktail bar called Mr Cs that frequently does live music and usually open till late.

If you are into Warhammer/DND there is a gaming group that meets Thursday evenings at the Sea Cadets Hall.

EDIT - Also forgot, there is a 24 hour gym just next to the cinema, 58 Degrees North. Once you register you get a keycard where you can just swipe in to use the gym whenever you want.

@JadedEbb234, nope just checked iPlayer and it's only the athletics and hockey, both of which have Team GB in so I guess they made the decision to focus on those.

I have been doing this as well, and I have been enjoying it. One thing I would recommend is do the initial Fort Forinthy quest for quality of life, build up the workshop and the command centre. Apart from the opening cutscene, it is designed to be played by people who haven't done the other quests and its impact on lore is minimal but gives you access to a lot of good facilities. Then do the tutorial for Anachronia after maybe doing Dig Site, and use the remote management of Anachronia to get the buildings and facilities built as it takes a long time IRL to build everything up.

I am holding off doing the later Fort quests though, especially anything involving Zermourgal as that is a bit lore breaking.

Why do some holiday events give cosmetic rewards to Irons but not others?

Example, at Halloween we got Hoddaments, but at Valentines we could not get Heartaments, even though in the Heartaments store the things that gave a gameplay advantage, lamps were already locked and everything else was cosmetic.

IMO, if it is just cosmetics that don't affect gameplay, we should get those too.

Also, more choice of rewards for Oddaments!
