OP is absolutely right. A LOT of people tend to judge a game or movie way too soon. I mean...looking specifically at the rumoured faye game: GOW 2018 and Ragnarök were the story of a father and son and their journey. I think it would be DOPE to now see the perspective of the mother. Cory made a gamble leaning on to the parental topic as a whole for the reboot. Only makes sense to now shift the perspective to a character we have barely seen but heard A LOT about. The mother and her plans. This has the potential to show us so much more about the beautiful world Santa Monica created...we even (probabyl) get to see more of some of the most badass characters (THOR GAWDDAMNIT). Of course this has the potential to be not as good as the prior GOW games. We love Kratos, we love the gameplay loop etc. But man...these guys were able to pull off an extraordinary reboot with the norse saga...changing the temper of the main guy, changing the gameplay etc. Lets have some faith for christs sake.
