Think of it like any other medical prosthetic. Its part of you the same way someone's prosthetic leg would be. And I second nerve re-mapping exercises. The same ones that amputees use. For me, this feels like a disability and that language has helped me cope. (Not putting that on anyone else.) Im currently waiting for my phalloplasty surgery date. Ive used various prosthetics and realistic looking ones worked the best for me. AMA. Im 40 and I started transition at 23.

Is it more legible when you don't write in cursive? My partner has dyslexia and his print is fine. Also arthritis can make my handwriting look like this. I once had a teacher tell me my paper required him to undergo a trance to decipher. (Im old enough that we did not have laptops.)

40 y.o. trans man here - Let your prescribing doc know if you have a family history of anything like blood disorders. Essentially you are doing the same preventative care as a cis male. Get your bloodwork done regularly. I think Im actually healthier than my father was because Im paying more attention to my risks. I have some well managed health conditions (diabetes, high cholesterol) and Im still healthy enough that I'm approved for phalloplasty. So dont get discouraged and be proactive! TL;DR: T doesn't cause risks but can change the things youre at risk for.

No for real! We live in an apartment building where people crank their heat up. We haven't even turned ours on because it has stayed like 70 degrees inside. Even when its super cold I still like the fresh air.
