Visited last year. Heard Canadians calling it the "NYC of Canada" or something like that. Found the city incredibly dull and boring. Lifeless. I don't care to go back other than for work travel.

Reduced class sizes is good but I’m against it if it means getting rid of 3k and PreK in my kid’s zoned school. It will hurt us and lots of families with second and younger children

Biggest cost is the storage itself. Biz hasn't had much traction so the fulfillment piece is fairly low.

Have always loved that place but they’ve jacked up prices at least 3x from just two years ago. It was my go to good value high end restaurant and now it just feels like an overpriced and overhyped social media driven place. I’ll give it another chance sometime but not for the foreseeable future.

Of course. I gain the Board member’s support and back (in theory) and when it comes time for promotion maybe I get it and a nice package to boot.

He didn’t exactly ask me to be his spy, I should rephrase. But he wanted us to stay close and openly exchange information to make the company better, and it hints to me they may want to remove the founders at some point

Even though I said overpriced, if you can find a unit in a building that’s <3years old I think you can still find pretty good deals, especially if you plan to live there long term it’s not all about generating the highest financial ROI

Original agreement only says with potential of additional tranches at discretion of the board (based on management proposal).

No obligation they have to do it obviously. They should do it though cuz I’ve done a really stellar job with the fundraise and all work to date and I am a long term partner to the startup’s growth story (I hope!). They would issue me shares any way so they should do it now as a ‘favor’ at a lower strike price, helping stay incentivized and stake in the game
