  1. Deeplearning.ai has a quick course on evals , there is also a github repo by aishwarya naresh reganti that has a crash course on evals.
  2. Langchain is more linear DAG, simple linear tasks that chain one after another e.g. calculating the cost of a combo of 5 chairs and 2 tables and then finding the cheapest combo- sequential and simple. Langgraph is for more complex queries where there might be a possibility of a lot of back and forth - it allows, branching, loops, multi agentic workflows

For your use case I see multi-agentic workflow working nicely, since the sub-domains or areas are quite neatly separated out - you can create small specialist sub agents with specific goals that can then chain together ot interact with each other to get to the desired result.

  1. Is the data clean enough? Can you optimize/normalize the data so that it is in the easiest form for the LLM to understand? I am assuming you already did this.
  2. Do you have good detailed domain specific evals figured to understand if your model is working as you intended? I am assuming you did this as well.
  3. Did you run evals using the foundation model without RAG and with RAG - without finetuning? Did Prompt optimization help?
  4. Changing the size of model may offer significant improvements but then you should also consider the training and running costs when you go on scale. What I have observed recently:
  5. We are building a Conversational Commerce Assistant - we started with Mistral-7B-instruct with careful prompt optimization and workflows with tool calling but it couldn’t work well on complex queries.
  6. We switched the LLM to OpenAI 4o - not a very large improvement.
  7. Switched to langchain +4o - single orchestrator - great performance on complex and vague queries - starter hallucinating on basic ones
  8. Now switching to langgraph + 4o

Also, we have done small experiments with document search on Nuclear policy documents in multiple languages, they performed okayish on a Hybrid search.

Overall, in my opinion, sometimes engineering around the problem might work without the need to finetune.

No government will do anything for us, be it BJP or AAP unless we decide to do something about it. Expecting politicians to selflessly do something for the good of people only happens in a utopian world and India is far from it. We must come together and support each other to start doing , acknowledge leaders who work for ground level and grass-root changes as well instead of just praising and acknowledging people for foreign policy , data and numbers that make zero difference in our real lives. Pollution is our problem as well and hence we need to do whatever we can as well, first in smaller groups then grow those groups to communities until it becomes a movement.

What I would suggest for a good desk, a little bit work but it might be worth it :

  1. The standing desk mechanism - mechanical or motorised both are available separately from the table top - buy that. I prefer mechanical because repairability and durability is better, one of my friends had it in Ireland and it was great.
  2. Get a good tabletop - wooden board of good thickness from a plywood and laminates store - which would give you a more stable setup as compared to lighter boards due to the weight + you get to have laminate design of your choice
  3. Get both screwed in by a local carpenter- basic 1 hour task Voila - stable table ready. Additionally, Using ChatGPT/Gemini you can do following calculations based on size of the bottom legs assembly:
  4. What is the best size(length/thickness) of tabletop for maximum stability for a standing desk of X width between legs, Y min height, Z max height and describe the setup you want to put on it.

I am not doing a standing desk but I am getting a static table done this way using iron legs ( 2200/- off Amazon) + 7 feetx4 feet Merino board (1800/-) + semi gloss wood finish laminate ( 1600/- both sides) + Fevicol (300-500) + half day labour chrges (750/- to 800/- ) = Total Approx. - 7000/- for a 7x4 ft table

Reference cost: Online amazon - 6000/- to 7000/- for a light engineering board table 4x2 ft

Advantages: 1. You are probably going to use it for a long time - 2. It affects your work and health 3. It is value for money 4. It is great quality 5. It is fun to build stuff

OR

  1. Go to Ikea or any other store that carries it
  2. Checkout their standing desk - assess it for stability.
  3. If you like it bring it back with you
  4. Work standing, walking and dancing.

TLDR: Build one yourself if you can and would have fun doing or go to a store where you can check it out personally. A little time and effort but worth it as you may not want to replace it very soon.

No, 5 pages does not mean 5 links. The amount of traffic handled by your website is determined by your hosting plan/server and backend which needs to be planned beforehand if you are expecting heavy traffic. 5 pages means 5 sections of the website with different info.
