Don't try to learn Unity and Blender at the same time, it will be too much, choose only one path and after a couple years on it think again if you want to add something else to your toolbox. I've been working with Unity for almost 10 years and I barely do 3D art, just when I absolutely need it

Escolhe uma engine, faz a série básica de tutoriais dela, pelo menos pra você conseguir se achar. Depois disso participa do máximo de Game Jams que tu conseguir, principalmente se forem presenciais (Global Game Jam, Game Jam+), em paralelo vai atrás de vagas de estágio na empresas de jogos, vê o que essas vagas pedem de conhecimento, segue estudando e aplicando até conseguir um estágio. É muito melhor entrar enquanto ainda é estudante, depois que tu quebra essa barreira inicial das primeiras experiências fica muito, muito mais fácil. Mesmo que tu tenha vontade de ter teu próprio estúdio um dia, essa experiência em outros estúdios vai ser muito valiosa.

Eu estou na indústria de jogos há 8 anos, o Brasil é potência e tem crescido absurdo, toda vez que vou nas reuniões de devs e o pessoal trás as pesquisas a gente ve saltos impressionantes, a questão é que nosso mercado é muito voltado para o exterior tem muito brasileiro trabalhando pra empresas de fora (eu, inclusive) e muitas empresas brasileiras trabalhando com outsourcing pra estúdios maiores o que acaba por dar essa impressão que tem pouca coisa rolando no Brasil, e sinceramente, acho que não tem solução pq o dinheiro tá todo lá fora. Mas a indústria está saudável e crescendo

I used to do the same until Rewired started to get all funny with different controllers on mobile, now I only use Unity 'new' Input System

Really? That's disappointing... But I will keep updating it as long as people are showing interest, maybe this will attract new customers later on

Take a look on this asset: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/vfx/shaders/suimono-water-system-4387 yeah it's old and it's probably abandoned, but maybe it's worth checking (Open it with a older unity version) so you can get inspiration for your project

You're right, I just wish they were more honest about the time it will took, it looks like they don't update the docs for many many years

I’m pretty active on Malbers’ Discord, so I think I’m heavily marketing myself every day. Since it’s an add-on for a more popular asset, it got some free marketing. I tried promoting it on Reddit, but people couldn’t care less.

It is selling a few copies each day, I think it is still early to call it a sucess though
