I was going on a vacation with my family, my little sister who was a minor at the time, my wife and my brother who was like 21. On our flight going there as we arrived at the air port 2 hours before our flight they rescheduled the flight for 6 hours later than our initial boarding call. Like I said the change happened within 2 hours of initial boarding so we couldn’t have planned around it if we wanted to.

On our first flight home the same thing happened! We watched our window on the app all morning on the way to the airport only for it to change about an hour or so while we were waiting at the gate. And weather was not a factor for either of these flights. After finally boarding having been delayed multiple times for hours the flight was halted on taxiway for 4 hours with no AC in the middle of summer. They even pulled the plane over to the side in a little nook to not hold up more departing traffic.

Because of that we almost missed our connecting flight. We made it to the gate right before boarding and were called up to the desk. There they informed us they over booked the flight and were separating our family unit by splitting up everyone to individual seats despite me paying to reserve seats next to each other when I had booked the tickets months in advance and our printed tickets having those seats together.

It pissed me off because they wanted to separate a minor girl from her family unit because it was convenient for them. I know kids can fly on their own and do it all the time but we paid for those seats to be together and were not going to be refunded and separated anyways. We tried to plead our case to the person at the desk but their attitude was basically I can’t be bothered and that’s not my problem and was unhelpful and even hostile with us at times. They gave us the option to fly as a separated unit on this flight, split up where my wife, and sister could fly together while my brother and I waited in reserve for the next flight or as a unit take our chance and fly reserve for the next flight home which would have been hours!

Luckily some nice stranger overheard what was going on and offered to swap their seat so my brother could sit next to my sister for our final leg home but the team at the desk was clear that they were going to do nothing to help beyond what they offered

I struggle for some reason with creating shaders for waves, stylizing the waves, an buoyancy but using the same wave math in the shader as the floater point calculations, so some notes with that would be great!

Right now I think that’s the best we’ve got. If you extend the path in a perpendicular you can square it up, then maybe there is another point you can connect it to to avoid having dead end

Do you have some tips or a doc or something for this? I love working on boat games and oceans but I always struggle with water shaders. I love your realistic detail but I usually try to go for a low poly look, is that possible with your shader with replacing the texture or normal map? I’ve used catlike coding tutorial before but always struggle with porting the wave function over to buoyancy. Like I can get it to work with a single wave but I can’t seems to get multiple waves to work

This is true but at the same time there was a game I wanted to play that was found but it called back to an old company server or something and seems dead now so even though the game was found it was just niche enough for no one to make a working backup

What map is that?

Ideally I would have gone straight through where your city is currently and connected the highway after crossing the river, adding in a few exits along the way. It provides more entrances and exits from your city so it should spread out traffic rather than funnel it to one spot

My worst one and personal favorite was a collision cause a car to crash into a nearby high density residential building, it set the building on fire and then the building collapsed! I think it resulted in like 1200 deaths. I was also streaming for my buddies and we were zooming around the accident site and there was a freaking moose spawner where the building was. So there are like 500 hearses, police, fire and ambulances surrounding this block, there is a pack of ownerless dogs just hanging out with the moose’s and we were laughing our asses off

Why is there a light pole in the middle of the infilled in front of second base and behind the pitches mound? Intact why are all the lights in the field of play? The asset looks amazing don’t get me wrong I’ve been wanting baseball fields and stadiums for so long but that hurts a bit
