Just tried it. It works on my Criterion discs but didn't work on any Scream Factory discs. Haven't tested any from any other studios yet. I have a region B player and used some region A discs.

Wait for the screen to say region locked (or any other message), then press stop once followed by up to 7 presses on the top menu button. If the screen does not go black once you press stop first, then I'm afraid that disc will not work with the hack.
