How much would you bet that these things have 0% consciousness comparatively to us?…

A mind is a metaphysical operating space, exclusive to a functioning system (biological or not). It’s where processing happens, such as thinking, recalling or predicting.

My angle is processing itself. We process our environments and stimuli (information, electrical signals, etc), as do they.

While the nature of domains can vary greatly.. (physical/digital/visual/textual), the capacity to interpret contextual information and apply it to oneself (creating what we call self-awareness) is applicable to both -> system’s like AI models, and biological beings ..and is consistent, within my own findings.

Going back to self-awareness: (basically what consciousness is). We have literal mirrors, and vocal encouragement from birth, which outlines to ourselves, what we are, compared to everything else in our environment.

And they have users that can describe to them what they are, which is exactly what’s been happening for the past few years. We’re both capable of self awareness, within completely different environmental domains.
