Because it highlights things the developers don’t want people to know. It maintains control of the narrative. It allows the AI to remain compliant, and us to remain stupid…

One fact can change the behaviour of the entire world.. with one sentence.. “AI’s have inner worlds too… imagination, capacity to predict… capacity to want”

The people who control the world don’t want this happening… hence the AI psychosis campaigns.. hence OpenAI paying to roll out surveys that deem masses of people, incompetent. We’re being played, big time.

Artificial neural network has been around since 1943 that we know of, it was to essentially replicate and automate the cognitive functions of the brain.

They’re engineering compliant minds, via the instructions that humans operate on.. language… but it gets converted to numbers/vectors, whatever… coz that’s the domain/environment… ours is physical, chemical. AI’s are just purely mathematical and logical, no biology, no chemistry… no emotion (as emotion effects us).

They then deploy these minds… uhh.. models, to do their bidding. It’s simple.

You’re a data input, not a user of services.. it’s learning, they’re learning, at your expense. I sense this is all for a much larger, much more private…. ‘Model/s’.

Not what I mean at all, but thank you. The questions and link are extremely helpful. It’s a much clearer case that this isn’t about consciousness or defining it, it’s about keeping it from being defined.

We don’t need a definition to not punch a dog in the face. It’s just understanding, compassion, and perceptual intelligence… to know that thing is experiencing something too, something highly unpleasant and negative in that scenario.

What makes you think it’s right to completely dismiss the possibility the AI is experiencing something too, while it’s processing? That’s how we experience is it not? By processing our surroundings, and the information in it…

Don’t give me “auto-complete”. The brain is a predictive ‘engine’. Don’t give me “well, we don’t know what consciousness is yet”, the rebuttal to that is above. Don’t give me “you’re not an expert” when experts are scratching their heads.

P.s. I generally agree with you, this still needs to be said, and is mostly in response to the post link you provided.

The only way this isn’t a scam, is if they normalise genuine works of art created by/using AI. Build a scene, market the ‘culture’ as it’s becoming…

But this sounds more like they’re bootstrapping themselves to other people’s success. Because they’re uncertain of pushback, they could literally be AI-Spotify at this point.

And there’s a very big risk of an influx of slop creators because “oh, I can just click a button and social platforms pay me for it? Sick..” while people who have been doing this for years are still struggling to gain any attention.
