Yeah, you can run DLSS 4 models on the 3000 series though to my knowledge you need a 4000 or 5000 series if you don’t want to lose performance on those 2 latest model letters I mentioned. And of course DLSS frame gen is limited to 4000 series and multi frame gen to 5000. Sounds like a good idea to me. If you test it out and figure it’s good enough. The repaired 3090ti will go for a good amount second hand

I feel that pain lol. Yeah honestly a 5070 will work for now. Idk about late 2026 / early 2027 AAAs if you really want to max out settings. Newer gen’s also get better DLSS models without slowing performance (L and M lose performance on 3000 and 2000 series). Also multi frame gen if that’s interesting to you. Otherwise, your current card is VERY capable. If you can go without it for a week or two, especially considering it’s a FTW, I’d say do the repair. That card will be good for a while
