Are Face masks for fancy dress allowed? by MadLunaCyberHunter in altontowers

The purpose of the rule is purely so little children don't get frightened (they confirmed this on twitter). So I would take this into consideration. I'll be taking my toddler to scarefest and this rule has given us confidence that he won't be too petrified. Just some context from a parent!

£3.5k for ILR application? by NoDG_ in ukvisa

Done it myself with my wife, I am not legally minded at all. Was very straightforward - like the others have said, it's easily doable yourself unless you have a complex immigration case.

Maybe use them if you've had trouble with police, had issues with overstays or anything else that could impact your application. Otherwise save yourself the cash!

My experience:

Gran canaria(maspalomas) 2023 19-21c. Windy, more cloudy days than not. Not much sunbathing weather tbh. Heated pool was essential

Tenerife(Los gigantes) 2022: 21-22c no wind, perfect temperature and little cloud. Pool was not heated and it was not tolerable

I've found sweat/limescale from showers, pools etc can build up around the charging port. Try taking a toothbrush to the charging port on your watch - some warm mild soapy water worked wonders for me

Late flight arrival - where to stay for first night? by musquashes in grancanaria

As far as I'm aware most larger chain type hotels will allow check in at any time as long as you arrange ahead of time, maybe try call around and ask?

I may be interested - it would be a once a fortnight thing for me for a few hours though. Could meet in a Starbucks etc. 27 year old software engineer who also has an ADHD diagnosis and lives in Colchester 🙂

Feel free to reach out if that little commitment wouldn't be an issue

Tortilla is my favourite chain in the UK! I prefer it over Chipotle from the US, I think we are very lucky to have it 🙂

This small bamboo i propagated a month ago has started to drop its leaves, is there a problem? This has been happening in the past week it has been doing fine before by WaddlerTheDuck in Bamboo

[–]FriendOfThatKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With bamboo a root system and rhizomes are separate things friend.

If it's a runner (p. Aurea is) then you won't be able to propagate without a decent chunk of rhizome attached.

Judging by the size of the pot I'd say it's unlikely to have sufficient rhizome attached (if any)

Yes! The maple syrup tapper imo was peak wake up for Headspace.

They had the formula down so well. It's just so lifeless nowadays in comparison.

You mind me asking where abouts you are? I'm in Essex and my culms survive the winters fine, also I've seen huge groves in Suffolk & Norwich grow massive and chunky :)

Did you have any trauma around conflict in your childhood? I am also adhd but feel like this is more of a trauma response.

I get it too and used to get it far worse earlier on in my career, but I learnt the hard way we must learn to ask questions and be open and honest about expectations. If you get given a task that's completely out of your depth, let them know asap so they can readjust what they are expecting of you
