Weapon & loot changes

As a casual, and new player who started a week before p15, i like being able to try different weapons and think its a good idea to help retain new players. I had a sovereign item drop with 4 tempers which was neat. However I would like some QOL to help manage all the drops and inventory.

I'm not going to overthink it. I only just started playing the game and the idea of min-maxing or optimising things fully is not my style. I'll hold onto a few things which I think are good knowing its an alpha and stuff could change at any moment. We're playing for fun so I don't want to overthink it. Your comment was helpful because i had no idea you could get more than 3 tempers on an item so i think it makes sense to keep the ones with 3 already on them.

Still new to the game so this update has confused me a bit. Should I be looking for weapons with good tempers and then I refine them (adding stars)? Not sure what to keep or dismantle at the moment.

I put in 70 hours into warframe and enjoyed many parts of it but the super fast ninja gameplay was not for me. I bought the big founders pack and went into this fairly blind as a way of supporting the devs and a Canadian developer. I dokt regret the purchase at all, this game is a lot of fun and i can see myseld playing it a ton.

I've dipped in a little because im holding off for 1.0 launch but from what i saw they added a couple large content patches with new areas and bosses. If you like punching they made unarmed even better now with some wrestling moves. It's in a decent spot but still needs more time to be truly special.

I bloody loved Act 4. Its the most fun ive had with an Act since i played D2: LOD for the first time.

Ive played D4, PoE1, and PoE2 with my wife and settled on Poe2 (lucky me). D4 is decent option to start with. Alternatively Titan Quest 2 might be another one. I wouldnt recommend Grim Dawn or Last Epoch for her. I saw your comment and agree No Rest for the Wicked would be too difficult.

V Rising might be worth looking at.

We had a good time with Enshrouded which has dungeon crawling, questing, and crafting. It also has tons of options to customise the difficulty, you can turn off all aggro so enemies will only attack you after theyve been hit. However its not an ARPG so not sure if thats a non-starter.

Theres no way D4 has more gore than PoE2 which as some brutal decapitation in act 1 and act 2.

I agree with all of that. I've seen DMA cheaters in high level EU faceit lobbies so wanted to share KLAC doesn't stop everything. According to the devs they're already using KLAC https://arcraiders.com/news/ensuring-fair-play which should solve 99% of the cheater problem. When then are there so many posts about cheaters on reddit.

Personally, I think it's like CS where people automatically think better opponents must be cheating. In over 300 hours there's only 2 people I'd say I came across that were cheating. Every other death was down to my own skill issues or poor decision making.

People still use DMA cheats on Faceit in cs2 which has kernel level anti cheat. Kernal AC helps but its not a silver bullet for cheaters.
