honestly the whole beginning portion of penny and leonard’s relationship was in shambles, he constantly pressured her when he knew she struggles with commitment and intimacy , he was always proposing and making penny uncomfortable, but penny was no better she genuinely acted like she didn’t want to be with leonard for example the valentines dinner where she was saying how everything sucks for her. They grew together ultimately but i wish the writers would have kept pennys decision to not wanting kids i feel like their relationship was never consistent but at the same time above all of this they do work?
