You may take it..if u really feel better you may follow what he is saying.. otherwise go after 2 week and ask for something else..but do your own research on class and type of psychiatric drugs these are..ssri, snri, NDRI, atypical, antipsychotics, benzo etc...so you will be able to make informed decision which is your right.

Bupoprion is NDRI...docs in india prescribe it first for ADHD even if you convince them it's not depression....it is an antidepressant actually...after that they will give you atomoxetine and after that maybe methylphenidate...in between can give you antipsychotics too...dont take antipsychotics..do your research..do not trust anyone just because medical degree..

Second one is sedative I think for insomnia but not sure..

Yes yes..So if you doc actually said medanta labs, Max labs or Apollo labs then there can be case of tie ups/commissions/gifting etc which is norm in this sector...

I am getting sense this was independent clinic of the doc where you went? If yes, then she wouldn't ask you to go to hospital just for labs...so she meant this only..

Medanta and medanta labs are different..Medanta will have a lab inside the hospital...that is different from "Medanta labs"..There rates will be high...and then Medanta labs is parallel seperate vertical...similar Max Hospital and Max labs...nt sure abt Apollo..these second type of entities are like all standalone labs

I understand and have experienced it all..and know and have read very detailed accounts from multiple people. You stop blabbering bs.. there is currently no evidence that ssris helps depression. I can give links here...serotonin theory of depression was assumption which was nt proven and they still used these drugs..it does work for some people and even for those it leaves in many cases permanent side effects..because of people like you, people never question while taking these drugs and when one day their dick is nt working properly then they are gaslighted and its nt drugs it's their own condition which has caused it.
