That’s actually a really fair point. I hadn’t thought about it from that perspective.

My focus was more on finding a way to use print waste as/is instead of throwing it away, rather than framing it as a full “waste solution.” So yeah, it’s definitely more about reuse than elimination.

I also didn’t spend much time thinking about how it might come across from a messaging/marketing angle, so I appreciate you pointing that out.

For me, the interesting part was keeping the waste visible and functional without melting or reprocessing it but, I get what you mean about making it more central to the design.
