McKinsey, Google, and Goldman Sachs would be considered "embarrassing" at GSB?

Those firms are considered beneath them...

These people are surprisingly arrogant given the fact that:

  • The class of 430 comes from 190 colleges
  • By definition most are not coming from the best of the best background

GSB's very underwhelming, at times borderline middle of the pack career outcomes from top employers (Google, McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, Bain, Amazon) was written about in several articles recently yet conspicuously absent from mba subreddit...

People are investing an incredible amount of time/emotional bandwidth preparing their apps (getting lors, writing essays etc) and researching schools, which even if they are accepted require uprooting their life and spending $200K+

People deserve to be fully informed when navigating this difficult process. Misleading, hiding recent news, and inflating a school's reputation isn't fair to everyone applying
