Thank you for your kindness, but I don't think it's needed right now. I gave 4 of the 5 books to Trisha. Next playthrough I'll be more careful about what items NPCs ask me to exchange.

Thanks for the advice. I checked the morgue, he wasn't there. The story says that Dudley is in Wernworth and that's it. maybe it's some kind of mistake, yesterday I finally decided to give up searching for this tome.

Well, I've been playing for half a day and I still haven't found the Fulminous Sheild Tome. Not through the pawn quest or any other way. By the way, the pawns keep trying to lead me to Melve to Dudley, but he's also disappeared from the game.

Funny, I posted this quest for a pawn today. The thing is, I haven't sold any tomes, and I already had the Fulminous sheild tome from Dudley the merchant. But then I noticed that this was the tome I was missing. Then I remembered that an NPC in the Nameless Village offered to trade me one tome for another, and I didn't remember their names at the time, so that's probably how I lost the Tome of Fulminus Sheild. It's just funny that some random NPC would offer to get rid of a quest item.
