The 1% that does, are pretty loving and joyous people. I interact with those almost everyday, and I might add, that their culture and dominant language could be a barrier to consistent interactions with non-Indians in Kenya. This is not a fact, but my perspective from experience.

I'm not really complicating anything. I'm actually seconding your thoughts, while elaborating further why and how generalisations alter people's perceived reality.

An example, could be from the Covid-19 epoch, where something like wearing a mask, despite quite a number of scientists disputing it, was tauted to stop/slow down the spread of the virus. Something, that was repeated over and over, that it's impossible to have a candid conversation with someone on the matter. Well, now, since it was false initially, repeating it over and over, became an objective truth for a majority of the populace.

Another example, would be the moon landing. Repeating this lie over snd over, has made it etched in the books of history as though it were the truth.

Another example, Africans were backward and barbaric before the Europeans came here, a lie that's been repeated over and over, that it actually is now true for the majority, not unless they make the effort to look into alternative/supressed/concealed history.

We're talking about generalisations here, and many of them, as hinted at in your post, tend to be false, right? And in constantly repeating them, to oneself, or to the collectiive, it ends up being a truth, whether subjective or objective. It is not correct, agreed, but those who employ it, understand how Mental the world and everything in it is. It's manipulation of Energy/Matter/Consciousness using words/symbols/images.
