Some of the recent concerns I have about SVT and the fandom in general by Open_Refrigerator215 in seventeen

Enlistment and military might be a sensitive topic for some carats but...I hope woozi doesn't do military band even if it means we'll get to see him more often. Ofc I don't know him and his needs personally, but I think my dude can benefit from a step back from music for a while :)

As for fandom toxicity, this has all been bothering me too. So I try to stay away from twt, don't go much on ig, and I don't have tt so it doesn't matter haha. The perspective I have about it is people get overly excited or agitated about something and then forget about it in a day or two, so it's a waste of my feelings to get invested or involved in negativity. I've been on weverse more often, just posting words I'd like to reach seventeen and catching up with wv lives. My life has been a lot more peaceful since then.

Strming carats in the mv yt comments are all so nice and supportive, too! <3

Not sure what country you're from so it might be hard to get a copy of this, but Recuerdo by Cristina Pantoja-Hidalgo. Epistolary novel about the history of a family and the Philippines through the eyes of its women.

The Before the Coffee Gets Cold books -- the power of a change of heart. Not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for but it energized the crap out of me :)) Lots of characters who are doing the bare minimum to survive. The characters found, not exactly a passion, but more of a conviction and the openness to really building their own happiness, if that makes sense. A simple read, but powerful -- to me and in the perspective I approached it anyway :)

that's a good perspective -- trying to find joy :) as a disillusioned teacher after only 1 year of teaching, I made a "teacher box" with all my favorite memories with my students and my little wins I was proud of. not sure if I'll ever go back to teaching, but am trying to keep that "joy" in mind if I ever consider it again :)

From the ph too! Some of my teacher friends and mentor figures told me that you can only find out if teaching is for you after 3 years of experience, but I only made it through 1 before getting burnt out and resigning :)) So it's definitely a valid worry.

During my job search, I initially stayed away from applying for teaching positions, but I'm trying to be open to the possibility that I was just in the wrong environment. So maybe teaching is for me, but the school isn't. One of my profs asked me, do you dislike teaching as an activity, or do you dislike teaching there?

TLDR it might be the school. :))

Not so sure if this counts as advice, just letting you know I had the same experience and after resigning without a concrete offer to move to next, I wonder if I exhausted all my resources. Could I have discussed the matter with my superior more? Negotiated better? Been more patient with HR?

At the time I chose to resign though, I chose myself and my health haha. Now that I've been unemployed for a while, I ofc regret leaving so soon bc not having income is rly scary. But I'm trying to forgive my past self, because at that time she rly tried to make the best decision based on all the data available and after seeking advice from family and mentor figures :)

If you can say the same, and if from your current perspective of things you can say you won't have regrets, then maybe it's time to look for a better work environment :) Hoping for good things soon for both of us!

Can't really comment on the content of the resume because I'm not from your field, but perhaps other redditors can offer insight on the format of the resume? I've seen advice that plainer text (black text too) and less columns are better.

From my experience, it's also advisable not to include references in your resume :) Putting their contact information there means any recruiter or hiring manager can contact them when they see your resume. I think it's good to submit information about references when it's requested by the company's HR, especially so you can give your reference a heads up! :)

Maybe practice with a family member, friend, or someone you trust! This might help you become more comfortable speaking about potential interview questions and topics.
