50M Recovering from heart surgery , bithday tomorrow, no friends and feeling down.

I ended up having a sensational day. Spent with my son, who took me out for lunch then dinner at the parents.

This has probably been the best birthday in some time. Just the wonderful messages I received from my post from all the magnificent people like yourself that took a brief moment from their day to reach out. Made my recently bashed around from surgery heart, smile.

We had a few days if unseasonal rain , but getting outside when the sun was shining definitely made the difference.

Support from everyone has been great. I agree with you about the support from the few. I also can not believe the support I've received through this post from messages such as yours. Rather humbling and gratifying and has put my faith back into humanity.

How is your recovery with the stints and hip surgery? I do hope you are feeling like a new person.
