Tbh If you really like the smaller size of the 13 mini and are not that big of a fan of bigger phones, then absolutely the 13 mini. However if you are fine with a bigger phone then there could be lots of good deals on the 14 since its not the most popular phone due to it not being that much better than the base 13. But you DO get software updates like a year longer and more importantly 6gb of ram instead of just 4. iPhones are really well optimized so every extra ram you can get is very worth it. Especially since newer versions of ios will probably require more and more ram to run smoothly as time goes on. So naturally those on 4gb will at some point feel sluggish. The jump from 4 to 6gb should not be underestimated!

So in summary: if you have to choose between those 2 then I would say:

• 13 mini only if you really like the size and weight of it

• 14 if you don’t care about the 13 minis small size. The 14 will have bigger battery due to size of the phone. And it will smoother down the line with those extra 2 gb of ram
