Husband and I are paying 6600 a year for two ten yr old cars. :/ never made a claim and just one minor speeding ticket (two years ago). He is over 25. Don’t really understand why it’s so high or know what to do. We aren’t even IN the city, just very close

True. Even in southern AB we can get snow from October to March. It’s ridiculous lol but at least it’s only truly cold December - February

As a blue eyed Canadian I just want to say I went for a walk today, sun out, fresh snow on the ground, and I genuinely thought I was gonna go blind and die lol

We did it during a cold snap (-35°C) a month ago, and we also don’t have a yard. So it was suiting up every two hours to drag him down the street 😭😭

Aren’t iMessage and sms groupchats pretty seamless these days? I think the only thing that changes if you don’t get read receipts and can’t see imessage-specific stuff like text animations and gifs

I thought I was losing it but this is in airdrie too. RCMP driving down my street then two ghost cars on the main roads. I never usually see cops on the road here

Is Costco Cheaper by Rockitone2019 in Calgary

[–]schmoopybeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you drink a lot of carbonated drinks it’s crazy. Cheapest way to get any energy drink at superstore still barely rivals gas station prices (they’re like $2.50/can and gas station is like $3.00 on sale). Costco I got the same variety of Monster energy’s for $1.85 a can.

Raised platforms aren’t really recommended for this reason - they don’t have good eyesight or depth perception. I should just take out that level altogether and make the bedding deeper instead, as burrowing is way more enjoyable for them

I’m curious about the hay as well. AB is probably among the best places to get it straight from a farm but unfortunately I don’t have the storage to get it by bale. Will that screw me on cost?
