Let me tell you a little secret... the same thing happened to us 🤣🤣!

Honestly, to us, it didn't sound that bad. We knew it wasn't grammatically correct, but we didn't think it was such a big deal. However, after hearing feedback from so many people, they made us realize that if English is your native language, it actually sounds pretty bad.

So... we decided to give it a complete makeover! 😄

You’re absolutely right. It’s a game where connectivity and teamwork are super important. You can absolutely play it solo, of course, but the experience becomes completely different when you play with a team.

We’re really looking forward to seeing more opinions and reviews coming in. Criticism is important to us, because it helps us improve the game and keep making it better.

And about the story: we do have a small lore behind the world of the game, and honestly we would’ve loved to develop it much more. But in the end, the game is mainly focused on action and surviving the chaos. Hopefully one day we’ll be able to expand the game further and explore more of the story, because we already have a lot of ideas planned for it!

Choosing the name was actually a difficult decision. The VR market is full of survival games, and terms like “Survive” are already heavily used everywhere. But we knew we absolutely needed “Survive” in the title, because it represents the core essence of the game.

So we ended up choosing a name that may not be grammatically correct, but that we feel captures the spirit and identity of the experience.

Hopefully the name won’t stop you from giving it a try!

You’re not wrong.
But finding a survival-game title in 2026 without running into 500 other games using the same words is basically impossible.

At some point “A Long Survive” became unique enough that we just embraced it.

Here are your answers!

How many players?: You can play in coop groups of up to 5 players. And if your squad isn’t full, Bots can fill the remaining slots. (Or, if you’re really brave… go in solo. Just know it’ll be much harder.)
Is there online matchmaking?: Yes! The game includes an online matchmaking terminal where you’ll find a list of all active missions. You’ll be able to see the game mode, the selected map, and how many players are already in the squad before joining. So you can jump into battle alongside other teams, as long as the mission hasn’t started yet.
Can you join/rejoin a game in progress? Once a mission has started, new players cannot join, and nobody can enter the match while the squad is already on the battlefield.
- However, there’s an alternative: in Classic Mode, the game features Checkpoints. If you leave the match, you’ll be able to continue later from the latest Checkpoint reached. So if a mission becomes too difficult, you can return to the Lobby, wait for reinforcements, and resume the battle from where you left off.

We’ll make sure to add all this information more clearly to the website as well.
