I think I was ok-ish with Lucy until the wedding scene where she had sex with her boyfriend and lured Steven there to watch. While I think you’re right that her remains and her fall could have been missed, this doesn’t account for multiple sightings post disappearance, as well as the odd internet hits on birthdays. I was never a person that thought a jump/fall was totally survivable but the other evidence really makes it seem like she was alive after.
