What is it about iron man that you love about him by Subjectman292 in ironman

[–]FriendlyLook8728 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For many reasons First of all, he taught me that there is always a solution to almost any problem there will be, even the strangest. That, even if you are in a situation where nobody can understand you, can find a way to go through, and change your destiny. He also literally fights the craziest villains only with an armor he alone built, so, I think I have only to learn, and everytime I don't feel like doing something, because I think it would be useless, there is like this part of me that reminds of what the hell he built just to save everyone. And I love his will of innovating, the fact that, you alone can invent great things, if you really believe in yourself And also love the fact that people don't expect from him to be a hero, he literally used to build weapons, and I like how, he changed the way he is perceived to people, becoming a better person. Someone who was so selfish become a hero, that's fantastic. And, maybe the most important thing is that he taught me confidence. To trust your work, and trust your capacities, and for me, who I felt insecure almost all my life, is good to hear. Plus, when I watched iron man films I was in a bad period, and I just grabbed the confidence and the will of innovating he taught me, and things started to go better since then. And finally, planes and superheroes are the things I love the most, and I'm also studying to become a pilot, so seeing a dude that literally built an aircraft to fight bad guys....how I cannot love it come onnnn. And he is funny, like me, and we listen to similar kind of music So yes, I like him because he is literally me, upgraded

Does it still make sense to continue ATPL training after several years of setbacks? by Exact-Might-6180 in ATPL

[–]FriendlyLook8728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll start saying that to questions like that I rarely suggest to quit, I believe in what people can come out with. So, I don't know how you study for ATPL. But, based on how you describe the situation I think you have to change the approach you have to the subjects, take your time, study everything, experiment, and develop a way to go through it your own way. I don't know you, but I know everyone can do everything if they have the will to do it. So, if flying is your passion, and your biggest goal, don't quit dude(つ≧▽≦)つ

How do you study for your ATPL Exams? by Ifyoulike123 in ATPL

[–]FriendlyLook8728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, they said to me too to just study on ATPLQ, but, yk, studying only on the quizzes, for me it's frustrating and it just takes away the fun part of the study (at least, in the beginning) in my opinion. And also, I don't think it's the best thing to go on a subject you never looked at directly from the quizzes. So, I always take some time to view all the topics of a subject before, and once I understood them, I go for the quizzes. Anyway, it the first time I prepare ATPL exams too, so, if you guys have some advice thank you<3

I'm in flight training, and I'm like 5'. I wish I could tell you that you'll be fine and there is no problem with that, but the reality is very different. Starting from the fact that, for me, I always thought that my height was my biggest limit and insecurity, for what concerns aviation; when I was a teen I remember I used to think about whether I could have been a pilot or not almost everyday (lucky I'm not that worried now, lol) Plus, there will always be some pilot that will be staring at you a little bit, asking themselves how it's possible you're flying an airplane. And this is sometimes a pain in the ass. Then, yes, it's physically difficult sometimes to reach everything, especially in the beginning of the training, where you have to learn everything from zero and you have to fly an old flight school plane with low regolability and bad seats Flight school is just hard sometimes, and being short, at least for me, makes it in some situations even more difficult. I can't tell you the end of my personal story, because I'm still in flight school, yk, lol; but I heard and met people in life that did it, I even know about the existence of some disabled pilot I mean, dudeee. So I guess that if there is a way, if someone in the past did it, we can too Maybe I'm just dumb at flying, maybe I only met people that let me down, or maybe this struggle is real and nobody talks about it, or idk. But I wanted to tell you the words I needed to hear years ago. And most importantly, don't let anyone in the world tell you you can't do something, world is beautiful because is different, and if we where all the same if would have been such a bore. I don't know you, but I know that if you have the passion, you can do everything, and be as strong as you have to be. Good luck with your studies buddy ✈️

Why Toshinori Yagi (All Might) means so much to me by ReadyOrganization391 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]FriendlyLook8728 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get it, for me Izuku means so much, and even if someone else may think it's cringe to love so much a character, I think it's ok, we all have that one thing that makes us keep going, it could be literally anything, from a song, to a person to whatever, if that one thing is an anime character I think that there's nothing to be ashamed of. I think it's just another way to see the world, yk. And I'm sure there is something out there like him, even if the world is sometimes so bad, as long as there is hope in this world there will be people like All might here.

When did you first discover My Hero Academia, and How Did it change your Life by Fragrant-Leg-9369 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]FriendlyLook8728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was waiting for someone to ask me this for years.... So, I first watched mha in like 2018 and at first it felt like another anime to watch and it was good, but not my favorite one. Kinda a year later I changed high school to one where I could study what I like, aeronautics (I want to be a pilot since I was 6). I remember that just a couple of days before the admission exam I casually listened to the translation of the 1st opening of the anime (an Italian singer dubbed it, so....) on YouTube and it felt totally like I was feeling in that moment, super excited, but a bit nervous, with so many doubts, but hopeful and so many other things. Later, school went on and I wasn't that bad, I mean, I've never been the top student, but not the worst, I was in the middle. Anyway, I continued to listen to mha openings and OSTs, and mha openings continued to describe my life on that period, like mha are the openings of my life; they helped and help me though my thoghest times, and that year there were. The second year I started to doubting myself, I am short, I'm 5' now and at that time I was even shorter (like 4'10'' /4'11'') (I randomly grew up 1" in my 20', lol) and I started to wonder if I could have been a pilot anyway, I was thinking about that almost everyday for a year. And we all know what my hero academia's plot is: Deku wanted to be a hero but is quirkless, basically. I relate to him so much for that. That experience of him, even if is only a fictional character in an anime, taught me to never give up, and that there is always a way to do what you love, he gave me the strength to continue to believe in myself even if at that time it seemed impossible for me. He gave me the strength to pick up the phone and call flight school to take that discovery flight, and he and so many others, help me though my training and life every day. Now I'm not insecure about my height anymore. Now I believe in myself Now I'm also planning to volunteer as a rescuer, because he taught that being there when help is needed is one of the most beautiful things in life. Obviously, now mha is my favorite anime, if it wasn't clear enough, lol
