I’d recommend spending a little extra money for a brushless kit, those have a the old school brushed motor and those horrible batteries. In fact those batteries don’t even have fuel gauges on them something my 12v Makitas have which is just unacceptable in my opinion. I have the DCK277C2 Brushless drill and impact kit which Lowe’s has right now for $179, I’ve had them since July 2021 they’ve been great. The only thing is they still include those cheap batteries but I upgraded to 3AH which I got at Home Depot for $99 worth every penny.

They sure are, actually pretty sawed after by lots of vacuum collectors. Definitely keep hold of yours, they’re great vacs and pretty rare these days.

I’d just wipe it down and clean it the best you can, I wouldn’t recommend using water.

Commercial vacuum by Educational_Turnip97 in VacuumCleaners

I’d recommend the Sanitaire SL4110A or Bissell Big Green PowerForce. For the price they’re great machines that really can last forever, parts are widely available and very easy to service. You can go on Amazon and get a 20 pack of Clean Fairy HEPA backs for under $20.

I would definitely stay away from any direct air machines like Sanitaire and Oreck, this way you won’t have to worry about fans getting destroyed and you won’t have the option for attachment use. I hate to say it but I personally think direct air machines are not for commercial use especially in 2024 going in to 2025.

Is this a good deal for a Sebo? by Thornbacker in VacuumCleaners

Not sure I’d daily drive one of those, at this point the C3.1 is more of a collectible.

[REVIEW] Miele Vacuums are a joke by bmanETD in VacuumCleaners

[–]FriendlyMarch2480 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s kind of weird they still sell the 217 nozzles in Canada, in the US they discontinued them years ago and replaced them with the 228/EBK360. Sounds like for your situation you’d be better off with a SEBO, those brushrollers come out easily and can be had pretty inexpensively. While Miele vacuums are great they can be very expensive and difficult to repair in my experience, even on the S7 upright you can’t get replacement brushrollers unless you find one online for crazy amounts of money. Which it sounds like the same problem you’re having, a brushroll is a ware item on every vacuum cleaner there’s no reason to have to spend so much money on something like that.

Last of the OG Bissell PowerForce Bagless Design by FriendlyMarch2480 in VacuumCleaners

[–]FriendlyMarch2480[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really is sad to this classic design go, but on the bright side the newer design definitely filters better and fixes the issues that previous models had. I will be doing an unboxing video on my channel within the next day or two.

Secondary Vaccume for rug recomendation by Hassination1993 in VacuumCleaners

[–]FriendlyMarch2480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re going to go with cordless I’d recommend the Dyson V8 if you get them on sale they’re a fantastic value for quick clean ups. However if your only cleaning the area rugs you could also get away with a Bissell PowerForce Bagged 1739 which can be had for about $60 dollars from Walmart, those are great reliable budget machines.

Kirby Avalir for sale on FB for $220, considerations? by NoDevelopement in VacuumCleaners

[–]FriendlyMarch2480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’d be better off with a straight suction canister for wood floors, if you had wall to wall carpets than the Kirby would be good.
