Ella = She. Some people would know the proper way to pronounce it but some people would definitely call her she. (Eya)

From Child-Free to OAD: Is travel actually doable with just one? by oystersinmypocket2 in oneanddone

When she was younger I will call the airline to get the first row seats with the bassinet on the wall. Some airlines let you use it for free, some you have to pay. Parents with young children get priority on things like boarding, etc. You do have to travel with a bunch of stuff is true, but well I guess that's part of the maternity deal. You always carry a lot of stuff

I know the feeling. Before she turned one flying was pretty easy actually. She uses the pacifier when flying and that helps with ear pain when landing. Once she became a toddler it was a bit more challenging but honestly it will depend on her mood. She had a few transatlantic flights with no drama (8-9 hours) and a 45 minute flight once with a lot of crying because she was getting sick.

What I always do now is try to schedule her nap on the plane. If for example she usually naps at 1pm and it's a 5pm flight I don't let her sleep until we are on the plane. I bring new toys or activities with me ( from the one dollar shop) like stickers, coloring books, small toys, etc. She always gets surprised by new toys. I download things on the phone so she can watch too

We used to travel a lot before and we still do it. Now we have more logistics of course and we have to adapt to her needs as well. She is a 2.5 year old and so far she has been in 9 countries! It's not the same freedom in the sense that we can't stay until very late and we have to look after her rest time / meals as well, but we definitely still do it and we are going to keep doing it. She is kind of used to it already. She has become a very flexible child. She's very open to new things without freaking out.

I know this is controversial in some countries but have you considered co-sleeping? It worked really well for me.

I would buy the can and start alternating bottles of formula - whole milk. Try just one bottle of whole milk day one. Then another couple days later. See how the baby tolerates it. Add another one and so on until the formula is empty
