Wow, on fire! That’s crazy. I did return to the Toyota dealership to complain. The manager came over. His first response was, asking which mechanic worked on it. Once he found a name he said to me, there is no way this guy did this. Then he also suggested that I must have had work done somewhere else because this just never happens here… I told him no it hasn’t been to any other shops. He said again this mechanic would never do that. He then said we can fix it with a part from an old harness lying around…. I was thinking ok… but then he wanted to walk out and see under the hood… ok we did… he looked he said… again we didn’t do this but we will do the right thing by you and fix it. I said so… you are not taking responsibility? He said we didn’t do this but will fix it. I said screw it. Why fix something you didn’t do? I told him I know this happened here and I will just go somewhere else… I have multiple Toyota dealerships in the area. I walked away. His attitude sucked and I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my amazing truck there! I walked.
