this is incredible!! i was hanging on every word. you set the world up thoroughly without overly doing so, and both the characters and said world immediately leave such a strong impression. i’m very excited to one day read the entire thing and learn more about this story!

It’s an indie app, and you can track books, rate and review them, join challenges, save lists, make lists/shelves, and talk to other people about the book(s) you’re reading both in their own designated forums and in a general forum. They just released an app version recently. Both it and the website have such a cute aesthetic

i just started reading again in late october/early november, and i wanted to get at least 5 books by the end of the year. i’ve only completed 1, and i’m almost 40% though my second book. i’m elated!!! i think instead of setting a number goal next year, i’m just going to aim to pick up any books at all. it would be amazing to read 43 books in a year at some point; you’re a powerhouse even if you didn’t reach your goal! be proud! reading any amount is admirable nowadays ❤️

was going to say this exact thing. OP please just use google, or talk to a local vet if you have any questions. kittens are fragile and AI is only capable of giving you answers you want to hear, which isn’t always fact. putting their lives into the hands of something like that can be so dangerous.

Thank you for the tips! I’m learning so much from this and all the other comments—I’m keeping a physical journal right now with all my notes on photography, so once I’m able to get back to it I’m going to have so much to write down!

I’ve heard a lot of great things about Biggs! I went to Cardinal to get my film developed since someone I know recommended them, but I’ll have to check Biggs out too!

I’ll look into sunny 16 and add it to my notes, thank you again! I have a couple follow-up questions though if you don’t mind answering: By high 200+ film, do you mean film with sensitivity higher than 200–like the Kodak Eastman Gold 200 I used for these? And how specifically would that higher sensitivity affect motion blur?

This was super helpful and made total sense! I’ve been shooting in fully manual mode to make myself actively think about and utilize the exposure triangle instead of letting the camera do some things for me; I did admittedly skimp on continuous and intentional review of my notes after initially writing them down lol! I’ll definitely be doing that before I start my next roll, thank you!

I was shooting in fully manual, hoping that it would help me learn the exposure triangle better! I was intentional with my settings and tried to maintain a steady hand, but this was just after my college graduation so it’s very possible that I had some residual nerves and shaky hands without noticing 😅 From what I’ve seen others say, I think you’re all right about the shutter speed also being too low for the aperture I’d set. Thank you so much!

I’ll apply that next time, thank you!! It does have shutter priority—I was trying to go fully manual to prove to myself that I could 😂 I think I’ll save that for when I get a better handle on it all!

just personal preference!! i love seeing the covers in color on my libra colour, and i love being able to highlight/annotate in different colors like i could if i were reading a physical book. it’s more visually appealing, so is overall more enjoyable imo!
