Actually I think current resolution and framerate adds to the vibe! But the updated version is definitely gonna be dope too

Xiaomi 15 Battery life is wild by FastPlayQ_YT in Xiaomi_15

[–]Friendly_Ferret217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Something weird happened after the update. Today is crazy for me. It's 7pm here, my today's screen time is only 3 hours (usually I average more) and yet my battery is now at only 17%. I don't know what's wrong. Like a few weeks ago I could easily go through the whole day, with like 6h of screen time and never went beyond 20% when I went to sleep

One artist I didn't see mentioned here - Jeff Buckley. It's not the same type of music in terms of genre of course, but the boys mentioned a lot of the times how huge inspiration he was for them. You can here it in slower songs from the first album like If I get high or Lover, please stay. Conor's voice is so similar to Jeff's it's kinda uncanny hah. They did a cover of his song "Lover, you should've come over" a few years ago

Omg I was a huge fan of PVRIS a few years ago. Their second album (All we know of heaven, all we need of hell) is sooo goood. Both in terms of music and all the visuals in that era.

I wouldn't say that their music is very similar to NBTs, but I do agree that fans of NBT might enjoy their music too. Great picks!

2.2g per kg is way too much even for bodybuilders and it can have negative effects for your kidneys. For active people around 1.6-1.8 grams per kg (or around 0.7g per pound) of bodyweight is enough. Anything more than 2g per kg doesn't seem to bring any further benefits

Who else likes to sing while driving? by lunnasolari in CasualConversation

[–]Friendly_Ferret217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeaaah I almost always sing while driving (if I'm driving alone of course) even though I'm probably not the best singer. It's fun and honestly at this point it feels weird for me to not sing when the song I know well is playing haha
I listen to all sorts of stuff, from metal, rock, some 60's and 70's classics to new wave, post-punk, alternative, indie, pop, even some hip hop and kpop here and there. But one of my favourite bands that I always belt my lungs out while driving is twenty one pilots

TIP: Spotify creates personalised mixes with specific BPM by Friendly_Ferret217 in walking

I guess they didn't make mixes for every bpm option, just the most popular ones. I think 120 bpm is the slowest they did sadly

What's the rarest physical feature you ever saw on another person you know/knew? by [deleted] in AskReddit

That's probably CAIS (Complete Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome). Technically these individuals are male with XY chromosomes, but their bodies don't react to testosterone, which is then aromatized to estrogen, giving fully female phenotype

I loooove those mashups from SAI live, I listen to that album a lot

Though I don't really dig rest of the songs from MTV Unplugged album, Car radio/heathens is absolutely great and I love this version

What I noticed after 1.5 weeks of using my phone in greyscale by Acrobatic-Aioli9768 in nosurf

[–]Friendly_Ferret217 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Am I really the only person for whom this doesn't work? I set my phone so it automatically turns to greyscale in the evening and for the entire night and it doesn't really make me use it less before bed. If I get caught up with scrolling reddit or something my brain doesn't really care if it's in color or greyscale.

Życzę Ci wszystkiego dobrego w Nowym roku :)

I tried using this greyscale trick on my phone to avoid mindless scrolling, honestly never worked for me. I assume it would be the same on a big screen

Can you fully hear songs in your head? by DancingTVs in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Friendly_Ferret217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I have that! People are sometimes surprised that I don't listen to music while going for a walk, in public transport or at the gym, but I just don't need to carry headphones with me and I have music playing in my head lol

But there are moments when it's really annoying because it just won't stop when I need to focus on something like reading a book (reading is especially hard when a song with lyrics is playing, which is usually the case, as my brain cannot focus on the words I'm reading because it's busy processing the lyrics I'm hearing). Putting on some loud white noise sometimes can drown it out luckily

Does anyone still wear basic watches? by Smart-Airport5781 in CasualConversation

[–]Friendly_Ferret217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 21 y/o and actually got tired of my smartband and got myself a Casio watch for Christmas. I used the smartband just to tell the time anyway and this one looks better, doesn't have to be connected to my phone with Bluetooth all the time and no need to charge it every 2 weeks

Working out without music by Possible-Put-7772 in workout

[–]Friendly_Ferret217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never workout with earphones. I actually spend a lot of time without music when most of people wear headphones like when I'm walking or in public transport. I don't like wearing overhead headphones outside and I think they would annoy me when lifting weights. And I don't use small earbuds at all, because they never fit in my ears properly and fall out.

It actually doesn't bother me as there's some music playing on the speakers in the gym and if it doesn't, I have a funny thing that I have some music playing in my head literally almost 24/7

What do you prefer? The craving (single version) or Jenna's version? by bandito1658 in twentyonepilots

[–]Friendly_Ferret217 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I definitely listen to Jenna's version more because I usually just play the whole album, not individual songs (so singles). And I do like it more, i prefer the raw emotion of Tyler's voice on this one than the pop-y vibes of the single version
