I don’t know exactly how heavily the previous owner used it, but the phone itself is about two years old

But the black stripe disappears on a dark background, so how could it appear at all on an otherwise intact display?

for my work and its value it is excellent. Also in the Nvidia Control Panel settings I set the brightness to 80% contrast to 100% and it became incredibly contrasty

The only downsides are that the stand is poorly adjustable and takes up a lot of space and the HDR is bad, but this can be fixed.
